A few months back we had the pleasure of meeting Eden Vaudry at Blim on the opening night of her exhibition there. We immediately found agreement that we should find a way to bring her magic to the STAG and the idea of Sugar of Stones, an edible and non-edible sculpture dinner, was born that very night. On February 14th, 2011 Eden, the STAG and dozen guests shared an amazing evening of highly sculptured deserts, delicious drinks, outbursts of noise and laughter, and a crazed sugar rush that crashed into wonderful late night conversation.  Among the delicious highlights there were:
Chocolate Volcano Pie
Buddha sitting in a garden of granola and fruit
Pineapple Chocolate Sculptures
Plum Wine in Cucumber Cups
Scented Fabric Cakes
Straweberry and Cream Puff Sci-Fi Architecture
Clay Sushi Cakes
Sugar Cereal Tree Ornaments
A group impovised noise jam
Gay Tea for Dark Times
