Residency
The STAG offers Residency opportunities for Artists, Writers and others. Residencies give visitors access to the Gallery, as well as our Library and Kitchen. We don’t offer any stipend, nor do we charge a fee. We offer two different residencies on an irregular and arbitrary basis:
- We offer a 1 week Visiting Artists Live-in Residency. Visitors are welcome to stay at the STAG for any length of time up to one week.
- We offer a 3 week Local Artist Drop-in Residency. Locals are welcome to periodically do work at the STAG for any length of time up to 3 weeks.
Any kind of work can be done during these residencies, including production, exhibition, research, public programming, & self-care. There is no obligation to publicly exhibit the work of your residency outside of some form of documentation for our archives and the web.
